Monitoring Report "Unaccompanied Foreign Minors in Italy"

The Directorate General for Immigration and Integration Policies of the Ministry of Labour and Social Policies publishes a monitoring report on unaccompanied foreign minors every six months, it is the main and the most upto-date source of information on this issue in Italy. In addition to the data on the presence of the unaccompanied foreign minors and the data on the new arrivals, the report presents the latest updates on national and international legislation on this issue.

The report also presents the pathways of social and work integration, including some stories of the protagonists. This report is enriched by contributions from other international institutions and organizations, which investigate various aspects of the phenomenon. All the semiannual monitoring reports on unaccompanied foreign minors and the monthly statistical reports with the main data in Italy are available on the website of the Ministry of Labour and Social Policies.
